You asked for it and we finally got it back!!! Local whole milk is now available here at The Farm. We are so excited to be able to offer Southern Craft Creamery whole milk in 59 oz and 12 oz bottles. This creamy milk is pasteurized but not homogenized, which means you may find a creamy butter head forming at top of the bottle. You can shake the bottle up and distribute that creamy goodness throughout the milk right before you pour a glass. You may prefer to pour off the cream to make a delicious spread or add it as an ingredient in your baking and cooking.
Southern Craft Creamery is located in Marianna, Florida. The farm which homes the dairy production is Cindale Farms. Cindy and Dale Eade are the patriarchs of Cindale Farms. Their daughter, Megan and Son-In-Law, Brad Austin, manage the farm. Dale and Cindy take care of the day to day operations at the creamery. It is a real family affair. Right now we only have their whole milk available but please be patient! They are in the process of expanding the creamery. We are as anxious as you to learn what more they will have to offer in the not too distant future.
I'd also like to mention that Cindy and Dale are both originally from Pensacola and both studied at UWF. They have ties to our community and that is the big reason why we are able to have the opportunity to provide their whole milk. If you would like to learn more about Southern Craft Creamery or Cindale Farms, just Google their names. You will find plenty of information along with their Facebook and website. We look forward to a great relationship!
Lee Johnson will be here this Friday to educate and give customers an opportunity to taste microgreens. We were Lee's first customer back in 2018. She currently provides her microgreens to some of the top notch restaurants here in town. I know many people are familiar with microgreens but not all have experienced them first hand. They really kick up a salad or any dishes' flavor profile. I am convinced the more people know about their health benefits and deliciousness, the more they will want to add them to their weekly produce list. Lee will be here for a couple hours starting at 11am this Friday. We are planning to promote her product through the weekend. Please come and give these flavor rich greens a try. She is planning to bring a spicy mix (arugula, kale, broccoli, cauliflower, and wasabi) along with some mild sweet greens.
We hope you will join us!
